What is it that makes West Side Story still so beloved and appealing to generations of audiences after all these years? Many see it as showing dance at it's ultimate "the way dance should be filmed" says Joanne DiVito, Career Transitions Center for Dancers. DCW gives audiences another opportunity to rediscover the magic of West Side Story and meet some of the people who helped make it. Some of the original cast members from The Sharks and The Jets including Bobby Banas, Carole D'Andrea, George Chakiris, Maria Jimenez Henley, Russ Tamblyn, Gina Trikonis, Tony Mordente and Jaime Rogers will be on hand to discuss the making of the film and its lasting impressions.
