Dance Camera West 10th Anniversary
DANCE MEDIA FILM FESTIVAL & CONFERENCE

Dance Camera West, recognized internationally for its annual Dance Media Film Festival, will celebrate its 10th Anniversary in June 2011.
This year's festival and conference will bring together artists, innovators, educators and the entertainment industry to discuss the increasingly active spectrum of dance media on screen.
The 10th Anniversary is concentrated in the Westwood area to accommodate the increased number of international guests and invited speakers traveling to Los Angeles for the occasion.
Programs and screenings will take place at The Getty Center, UCLA Department of World Arts and Cultures/Dance, UCLA Fowler Museum, and Hammer Museum.
Membership Information:
In celebration of our 10th Anniversary, Dance Camera West offers two special memberships.
Attendees are encouraged to purchase the special DCW Membership Pass [$250] for guaranteed reservations for Opening Night at the Getty Center, reserved priority seating throughout the festival and conference, and invitations to private artist receptions.
Conference Contributor Membership:
Attendees to the Friday, June 17 all-day conference are encouraged to purchase the special Conference Contributor Membership [$100] for reserved priority seating at the conference, free dinner, and hosted bar preceding the outdoor screening.
*Please Note: All 2011 Dance Camera West participating artists and presenters will automatically receive all DCW Membership Pass benefits and invitations.
Accomodations and Travel:
Out of town attendees should fly into Los Angeles International Airport [LAX] and take a taxi or shuttle to Hotel Palomar in Westwood. There is no need to rent a car. Parking at Hotel Palomar is $30 per night.

Getting to the Festival:
For visiting guests, all events are within walking distance from Hotel Palomar in Westwood, with the exception of Opening Night at the Getty Center. Festival presenters and DCW Membership Pass holders will be provided transportation at 4:30pm from Hotel Palomar for the 5:30pm pre-screening artist's reception, as well as transportation returning to the hotel following the screening.
