The Dance Camera West Film Festival
Dance Camera West continues to provide some of the most intriguing art experiences in Los Angeles while supporting Artists and screening work that would otherwise not be seen in Southern California.
The following guide is representative of the impact that your gift can have. Project expenses for the 2007 festival total just under $200,000.
| $250 | Your gift helps expand our international outreach as we search for critical new works from both emerging and established artists. |
| $500 | Your gift supports research into current development in dance media. |
| $700 | Your gift helps to create new perspectives on the history of dance film. |
| $1,000 | Your gift supports the comprehensive and creative process of selecting the top 50 films from the 250 annual entries from around the globe. |
| $1,500 | Your gift supports a lecture by an internationally known dance filmmaker. |
| $2,000 | Your gift underwrites one of the 50 films selected for the annual festival. |
| $2,500 | Your gift provides dance film to arts in education for a well rounded education and the critical thinking skills to prepare students for success in life and to help build future audience for the arts. |
| $3,000 | Your gift supports a weeklong workshop by an international artist on dance film. |
| $5,000 | Your gift underwrites a screening event at a specific venue. |
| $7,000 | Your gift provides cash prizes to encourage new work and expands the genre. |
| $10,000 | Your gift creates the Dance Camera West library and archives. |
