Dance Camera West presents the Choreography Media Honors Panel,showcasing a who’s who of director/choreographer creative teams in a fascinating panel discussion.
This special evening will pay tribute to the craft of choreography in film and television by examining the impact of dance in mainstream media.
Moderated by award winning director and choreographer Daniel Ezralow (Across the Universe), each team will illuminate their process of bringing choreography to the screen.
Three internationally acclaimed productions will participate – Kenny Ortega and his High School Musical team; the choreographers,Tyce Diorio, Tabitha and Napoleon and director Matthew Diamond from So You Think You Can Dance; and 81st Academy Awards® producer Bill Condon and Marguerite Derricks the choreographer for the opening number at this year's Academy Awards®.

The mission of the Choreography Media Honors (CMH) is to honor the craft of choreography for the camera, and to raise the visibility of those choreographers who create it. As dance and choreography continue to move into the foreground across all mediums, this special panel discussion marks the third year of the Choreography Media Honors and allows a unique opportunity to view the best from mainstream media.
